 Boogie AKA. Jason Rivera and Lee Majors AKA. Chris Ivery first met in 1996. Both had cameo appearances on an album released by a mutual friend. “I instantly noticed that he had a similar passion for performing as I had” said majors about boogie after the first show they appeared in. At that point both had separate projects they were involved in however they maintained contact through local shows and other common interests. Over time most of there musical ventures had dissolved and both were left with no direct focus. What would seem to be a discouraging point in their lives opened an opportunity for the two to begin a new endeavor. This time around the two wanted the creative possibilities to be endless and as eclectic as their ideas and interests. The music would be an honest reflection of the lives they live the places they’ve been and the things they’ve done a trait sadly absent from a lot of the present artists music. With that in mind they formed what the world has come to know as AB/NRML (abnormal).
